Bought a 'top end' North Face Diameter jacket for $400 or so. Jacket ripped first time snowboarding without any big accidents.

North Face customer care and warranty have been unresponsive and given me the run around for 1.5 months, now finally stating the ENTIRE Warranty Department is unavailable for 1-2 months as it is "being upgraded", thereafter, repairs or replacements will take another 6-8 weeks.

Insane to buy a jacket, own it for 2 weeks and when it fails to have to wait 4 months for warranty service. In addition, they still haven't arrange collection as they stated I did not provide my address, which I have record of providing 4 times by email.

Buyer beware, stick to trusted brands that honour their warranties and don't give you the run around.

Reason of review: Poor customer service.

Monetary Loss: $400.

Preferred solution: Full refund.

The North Face Cons: Customer service, Warranty service, Product quality.

An update: two months after first contacting customer care and still nothing has been done. North Face have not contacted the jacket or honoured their warranty.
